Course Page Information
How
to change the course page information on your ERes page
Course page owners can
change some aspects of their page, although it is not completely customizable.
Some of the options include changing the number of instructors (if you team-teach
a course), changing the course number, section, year taught, or name of the
course, adding TA names and email addresses, adding written information about
the course (such as a description or your office hours), adding or changing
the password to your course, changing the order of the documents as they appear
on the page from the default 'time-order' to alphabetic order, or disabling
the chat room or discussion board. You can do any of things at any time during
the semester - when the course is created, these options are available, and
if you're free to to change them any number of times, at any time.
From the course page, login
through the Page Management function. From the options available, click on Modify
course page info. Your first screen will ask you the number of instructors
in the course.
 |
You can
change the number of instructors to any number that you'd like. These instructors
will be listed on the course page and a 'Search by Instructor' from the
main index will find everyone listed from the following screen. |
| This is
where you can choose the instructor from the pull-down menu, choose the
department, type in the course number and term, and type in the name of
the course. |
 |
 |
These
are the default listings - you can choose to add TAs to your course, type
in an unlimited amount of course information, add or change your password,
change the way the documents are ordered on your page, or disable the chat
room and discussion boards. |
 |
After
making your changes, you will see a screen showing you what your choices
are (you can go back to edit your changes) - if you are happy with your
choices, you can click on Continue and you'll see the ERes success!
screen telling you that everything is all set! |
