Replace a Page
Sometimes faculty place
a document on an ERes page, and then subsequently find that there is an error
in the document. Rather than deleting the document and then adding a new one
with the same title, it is possible to simply replace the document that currently
exists online. In order to do this, log into your page. From the list of options,
choose Modify a document or link entry.
 |
This is
the same screen that you would see if you wanted to modify a document (change
the words that appear on the ERes page to describe a document or move a
document into a folder). To replace a document, however, click on the Replace
link. |
 |
Choose
the document for which you want to replace the file and click on Continue. |
| Read the
screen! By clicking Continue, you will be deleting the file, but
on the next screen you'll be given an option to choose the new file. |
 |
 |
Click
on the Browse button to find your replacement file. |
 |
Double-click
on the file that is the correct or updated file. |
 |
By clicking
on Continue, you'll be able to finish the sequence.
|
| And you're
finished! You've kept the item on the page in the same location and with
the same title, but now when students click on the document, they'll be
accessing the new and improved file! |
