Resources for Faculty and Students
To fulfill student academic research needs, and encourage lifelong learning, Information Services and Resources offers a wide array of User Education sessions across all disciplines. In consultation with faculty, librarians and other ISR staff members develop course-relevant instruction tailored for specific class assignments.
The staff of Special Collections/University Archives plays an active role in User Education, presenting a high number of sessions each semester, and assisting students when they return to consult original and primary materials for their class projects. User education sessions range from First Year Foundation Seminars to Senior Capstones. Project topics include the History of Language; Medieval Manuscripts; the History, Technology, and Economic Impact of Printing; the Creative Process; Book Design and Illustration; and Images of the Body.
These images were created for the advancement of scholarship and curricular objectives, and may be used by faculty and students for classroom activities in accordance with pertinent copyright provisions for educational use.
