the Arts
Since 1976 when a small group of faculty and alumni formed
The
Bucknell Association for the Arts, this organization has
supported a myriad of rich cultural activities on campus. The mission
of the Association is "to enhance the educational experience of
Bucknell students by supplementing the university's ongoing support
of essential artistic opportunities." Indeed, the Bucknell undergraduate
experience is greatly enhanced each semester when students across many
disciplines consult the exquisite fine facsimile of the Ellesmere illuminated
manuscript of The Canterbury Tales.
